Two Steps Back And A Big Step Forward

Google has pulled the IPv6 trigger. If you have good IPv6 connectivity, then you can see the dancing Google logo. If you're still in the camp who likes beating yourself in the head with the IPv6 hammer, then this will be welcome news to you.

I certainly don't want to disparage Google's efforts here. As near as I can tell from a cursory examination sitting here at IETF 71, they've done everything right— if only a little bit later than I would have advised.

Now, if only it will make any good goddamn difference.
